Ludmila Ferolla is a photographer, documentarian and painter

Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Birth: Rio de Janeiro, 1961

Graduated in Visual Communication from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado FAAP, in São Paulo, Brazil

She lived in Rome for eleven years wheres studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. She graduated in Cinematography with Giuseppe Rotunno, considered a great master in the history of cinema. She later worked as his assistant.

She started professionally as freelancer photographer, later created the film production company Mares Produções and started to work as Director, Producer and Cinematographer.

 

She studied painting at the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts, in Rio de Janeiro.

She took place in national and international film and visual arts festivals and exhibitions, such as:
